Your /dashboard shows aggregated career batting and bowling statistics updated after every match.

Drill into /players/[yourId] for a full breakdown by tournament and season.

Getting started as a Team Owner
1

Get the Team Owner role

After registering, contact the platform admin to upgrade your role to Team Owner.

Once granted, a Teams section appears in your navigation.

2

Create your team

Go to /teams/new. Provide:

  • Team name — full name (e.g., "Royal Challengers")
  • Short name — 2–4 letters shown on scoreboards (e.g., "RCB")
  • Logo URL — optional, link to your team logo image
3

Build your squad

Open your team at /teams/[teamId] and use Add Player to search the player pool and send invitations.

Invited players see the request on their dashboard. Their status shows as Pending until accepted.

Aim for at least 11 confirmed players before your first match.

4

Register for a tournament

Visit /tournaments and open any tournament with Registration Open status.

Click Register Team and select your team. The tournament owner will confirm your entry.

5

Create a Quick Match (optional)

For ad-hoc games without a tournament, go to /matchesQuick Matches tab → Create Quick Match.

Set the overs, venue, and city. Other team owners can then request to join your match.

Once both teams are confirmed, you can start scoring just like a tournament match.

6

Score a match

Open any match involving your team from /matches.

Before the first ball: complete the Toss (select winner and decision), then pick your Playing XI from your squad.

Use the live scoring interface to record each delivery — runs, extras, and wickets. The scorecard and live page update in real time.

7

Review head-to-head records

Your team page shows H2H stats against every opponent you've faced — wins, losses, and win percentage.

Tip: Send invitations before match day so players have time to confirm. A player must accept your invitation before they can be selected in the Playing XI.

1

Get the Tournament Owner role

Contact the platform admin to upgrade your role to Tournament Owner. Once granted, a Tournaments section appears in your nav.

2

Create the tournament

Go to /tournaments/new and configure:

  • Name, venue, dates
  • Format — Round Robin, Knockout, Group + Knockout, or Single Match
  • Overs per innings and balls per over
  • Powerplay overs and max overs per bowler
  • Points system — custom points for win / tie / loss / no result

The tournament is created in Draft status — not visible to others yet.

3

Open registrations

When ready, change status to Registration Open. Share the join link /join/[tournamentId] with team owners.

Team owners request to join — you approve or reject each team from your tournament page.

4

Organize groups (if applicable)

For Group + Knockout format, assign teams to groups after registration closes.

The points table is calculated separately per group, with NRR as the tiebreaker.

5

Start the tournament & create matches

Move status to In Progress. Now create individual matches:

  • Select the two competing teams
  • Set date, time, and venue
  • Assign match to a group (if group format)
6

Conduct the toss

Open the match and click Toss. Record which team won and whether they chose to bat or field first.

Then select the Playing XI for both teams from their squads.

7

Score the match live

The scoring screen shows the current batsmen, bowler, and over. For each ball, record:

  • Runs scored (0–6)
  • Extras — Wide, No-ball, Bye, Leg-bye, Penalty
  • Wicket — choose dismissal type (Bowled, Caught, LBW, Run-out, Stumped, etc.) and fielder

Strike rotates automatically at end of each over. Select the new batsman when a wicket falls.

After the 1st innings, select the opening batsmen and bowler for the 2nd innings.

8

Complete the match

When the last wicket falls or overs run out, mark the match as Completed and record the winning margin and Man of the Match.

The points table, NRR, and leaderboards update automatically.

9

View tournament analytics

Your tournament page shows:

  • Points Table with NRR and match counts
  • Top Batsmen leaderboard sorted by runs
  • Top Bowlers leaderboard sorted by wickets
  • Head-to-head records between teams
  • Full match history with scorecards
10

Conclude the tournament

After all matches (including knockouts), set status to Completed. All scorecards, stats, and badges remain permanently accessible.

Tournament formats explained

Round Robin

Every team plays every other team. Best overall record wins. Great for small groups of 4–8 teams.

Knockout

Single elimination — lose once and you're out. Fast format, ideal for large fields or time-limited events.

Group + Knockout

Teams divided into groups (Round Robin per group), top teams advance to knockout rounds. Classic cricket tournament structure.

Single Match

One match between two teams — useful for finals, friendlies, or one-off games that still need full scoring.

Tip: Share the /live/[matchId] link on WhatsApp or social media during the match — anyone can follow the score in real time without an account.
